Cedarhurst of St. Charles January Progress Update
01.29.16

The construction of Cedarhurst of St. Charles Assisted Living and Memory Care is well underway, despite some of the nasty winter weather that we have endured so far in the St. Louis area. We are anticipating for Cedarhurst of St. Charles to open Fall 2016.

Our campus and building are beginning to take shape. Concrete drives have been poured. The foundation walls are being constructed. The elevator shafts are 100% complete and currently tower over the campus, but provide an idea of the sheer size and caliber of our newest senior living community.

With 76 assisted living apartments and 24 residences equipped for memory care services, Cedarhurst of St. Charles is specifically designed for living with the best interests of our residents in mind. Individualized care plans are created for each individual based on their needs. Our floor plans are available on our website or by clicking here.

To build our Memory Care units, we partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association to help us to design the layout of the area and also to provide extensive training to our future employees.  At all Cedarhurst Memory Care communities, we use the True Person-Centered Care approach. This method is a personalized way to get to know each and every one of our residents, uncovering unique capabilities, favorite pastimes, and working with them daily to support their best life.

Cedarhurst of St. Charles will be more than just a place to live — it will be a thriving community offering new experiences and opportunities through our partnership with Lindenwood University. We will have scheduled group and individual activities to foster fun, friendship, independence, and enjoyment among our residents, but also encourage people to make their own experiences based on their passions and dreams.
